1968 Ford Torino

This is the first year the Torino is introduced as part of the Fairlane car line up. With Fairlane sales sagging, Ford sales strategists decided that a new name on the same quality car line would pep up sales. They were right. The Torino would continue to gain popularity and eventually replace the Fairlane name entirely.
